YWCA New Britain will be hosting its 18th biennial Women in Leadership Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville. The event will recognize women in central Connecticut who demonstrate extraordinary leadership and outstanding achievements. More than 650 women have been honored since the event’s inception in 1985.
In addition to celebrating our honorees, the event program will feature keynote speaker Anat Baron. Anat is currently the CEO of tech start-up Stashwall, Inc. As an entrepreneur, brand builder, and former head of Mike’s Hard Lemonade, she uses her experience as a female in a male-dominated field to inspire and motivate audiences to take charge of their future in a changing workplace and galvanize them into action.
51 women who live, work, and go to school in central Connecticut will be honored at YWCA’s Women in Leadership Luncheon. For more information on sponsorship, advertising, or attending the event, please contact Jill Crandall White at 860-225-4681 x295 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Cost to attend is $50 per person.
