The YWCA Fitness Center is OPEN! We are taking a series of health and safety precautions to protect our members and staff. Group Ex Schedule

Currently, YWCA is offering both virtual and in-person classes. For in-person classes, reservations are required.



SugarWOD Fitness App

At YWCA New Britain, our goal is to provide the most supportive environment possible for our members and guests. This is even more important in our current environment.

We are committed to your health and fitness goals. While the Fitness Center is now open, we understand some members may not be ready to visit quite yet.

Through SugarWOD, we will be providing live workouts you can do at home along with videos and wellness content to keep you motivated during this time.

SugarWOD is a fun (and FREE) mobile app that makes tracking your progress easy. PLUS it lets our incredible community interact, share successes, and provide a little extra encouragement via fist bumps and comments. Click here to see our offerings, how to get started on the app, and more.


Meet Lisa

Lisa Iacobucci began her fitness journey with YWCA New Britain in February. She first came to the YWCA for a networking event, and saw the gym when she took a tour of the building. Lisa couldn’t help but think about how she has been struggling with her weight and energy level for quite a while. She decided then and there to take control of her wellness and sign up for a fitness membership. Read more.
